Digitally re-mastered two-fer from the Akron-bred New Wavers featuring a pair of their albums on one disc: Freedom of Choice () and Oh No! It's Devo (). Freedom of Choice was the band's third album and provided their commercial breakthrough with hits like 'Whip It', 'Girl U Want' and the title track/5(33).

In any case, this is probably not the "best" Devo album, strictly speaking, but it is the one that gets the most play at my house. In spite of, or probably because of, its brilliantly disguised lyrical content, it's still the most fun of all of the band's albums for me. This is an easy 5 stars, as is every Devo /5(45).

If you've not encountered DEVO before, shame on you! But unless you spent time in the s, it's probably not your fault. This collection contains two of Devo's essential releases, "Freedom Of Choice" () and "Oh, No! It's Devo" (), though somewhat irritatingly, these releases are not coupled chronologically, but this is a moot point /5(30).
